The Beginning of Wildwater Floral Design

Wildwater Floral & Design began from my own experience planning my wedding and wanting florals and décor that felt personal, intentional, and truly reflective of my vision.

When I was planning my wedding, I originally tried working with a flower shop, but I struggled to find arrangements that captured the exact feeling and style I was looking for. I wanted something that felt natural, unique, and like me — not something chosen from a standard catalog or recreated without flexibility. So instead, I decided to design everything myself.

I sourced the flowers, greenery, textures, and details I loved and began creating arrangements tailored specifically to the atmosphere I wanted my wedding to have. By combining both real and faux florals, I was able to incorporate colors and elements that wouldn’t have otherwise been possible — including the soft blue tones I had envisioned from the beginning. What started as a creative challenge quickly became something I genuinely fell in love with.

Not only did the final result feel far more personal and meaningful, but it also allowed me to create something beautiful without the overwhelming cost that often comes with traditional wedding florals.

After my wedding, I had the opportunity to do the same for my sister’s wedding. She shared inspiration photos and ideas with me, and together we built a vision around the feeling and style she wanted. I created a tentative design plan, sourced complementary elements and then brought everything to life through the final arrangements and décor. Seeing everything come together exactly the way she had imagined confirmed for me how much I loved the creative process behind floral design.

That experience became the foundation for Wildwater Floral & Design.

This business was created around the idea that floral design should feel collaborative and personal. Instead of selecting from limited pre-made arrangements, clients are able to share inspiration photos, colors, textures, themes, and ideas so every piece can be thoughtfully designed around their unique vision.

Whether it’s wedding florals, custom arrangements, keepsake pieces, or event décor, my goal is to create designs that feel intentional, artistic, and completely personal to the people they’re created for.
